📞 Enter Phone Number

We are seeing the highest drop off point in the sign up flow coming from asking users to provide us with their phone number.

💡
Hypothesis A: If we clearly state why we are asking users for their phone number and empthasizing that this is only used to help better secure their account and not to send them marketing messages. Then users will be more inclined to see the value in providing us with their phone number.
💡
Hypothesis B: If we move the "Enter your phone number" screen out of the sign up flow and into the "Add Bank Details" flow alongside additional copy explaining this is for 2FA to protect your money then more users will provide us with their phone number.
📈
Outcome: We expect the abondonments on the Mobile Phone page to decrease.

🕵️‍♂️ Identity Check Explainer Screen

💡
Hypothesis: If we provide an estimation of how long the RTW Check will take then it will appear less daunting to users and more people would continue to go and complete their identity check. At the moment 337 people are abandoning on the first screen.
📈
Outcome: We expect the abondonments on the initial Identity Check introduction screen to decrease and more users to complete the funnel.

⚠️ Identity Glare Explainer Screen

💡
Hypothesis: A large portion of users appear to abondon the flow when we give them a warning that they only get one chance to take a photo of their RTW and to ensure there is no blur or glare. A lot of users are potentially scared off by only having one chance to submit their RTW check. If we removed the sentence about only having one chance to submit on this page or remove the page entirely more people would continue along the flow. We mention on other screens to avoid blur or glare anyway.
📈
Outcome: We expect abandonments on the Identity Glare Explainer screen to go down and an increase in users who complete the funnel.
